Diethyl p-tosyloxymethylphosphonate

Diethyl p-tosyloxymethylphosphonate is an organic compound that is used in the synthesis of tenofovir. It is a salt of diethyl phosphate and p-toluenesulfonyl chloride, which reacts with magnesium chloride to form diethyl p-tosyloxymethylphosphonate.
