<p>2-(Phenylamino)-1,3-thiazolin-4-one is an organic compound that is used as a reagent in peptide sequencing. This reagent reacts with amines and isothiocyanates to form phenylisothiocyanate derivatives of aminoacids. These derivatives are then subjected to chromatography or electrophoresis to separate the aminoacids based on their length.
