Reagecon's Primary Opalescent Suspension is used as a reference material to ascertain the clarity and degree of opalescence of liquids in accordance with European Pharmacopoeia Chapter 2 (2.2.1). - This Primary Opalescent Suspension is a ready to use Standard presented in high quality, tamper evident bottles for use in calibrating Comparators, Turbidimeters and Nephelometers and for controlling the reproducibility of their measurements. This product is a formazin suspension prepared with equal parts hexamethylenetetramine solution and hydrazine sulphate solution.
