Bornitrid (BN) ist eine vielseitige chemische Verbindung, die aus Bor und Stickstoff besteht und für ihre einzigartigen Eigenschaften und Anwendungen bekannt ist. Sie existiert in mehreren strukturellen Formen, darunter hexagonal (h-BN), kubisch (c-BN) und Wurtzit (w-BN), wobei h-BN die stabilste und am häufigsten verwendete Form ist.
