The binding of 2-chloro-6-(2,2,3,3-tetrafluoropropoxy)pyrazine to ClC-0 is reversible. 2-chloro-6-(2,2,3,3-tetrafluoropropoxy)pyrazine has been shown to inhibit cell proliferation in vitro and to inhibit tumor growth in vivo. It has also been used as a research tool for studies on ion channels and ligands.
