Morpholin

Beschreibung:

Morpholin ist eine heterocyclische organische Verbindung, die durch einen sechsatomigen Ring gekennzeichnet ist, der sowohl Sauerstoff- als auch Stickstoffatome enthält. Seine chemische Formel ist C4H9NO und es weist eine charakteristische Struktur auf, die ein Stickstoffatom neben einem Sauerstoffatom im Ring umfasst. Morpholin ist eine farblose, ölige Flüssigkeit mit einem charakteristischen aminartigen Geruch und ist in Wasser, Alkoholen und vielen organischen Lösungsmitteln löslich. Es hat einen Siedepunkt von etwa 128°C und einen Schmelzpunkt von etwa -4°C. Aufgrund seiner Basizität kann Morpholin auch als schwache Base in chemischen Reaktionen wirken. Es ist jedoch wichtig, Morpholin mit Vorsicht zu behandeln, da es reizend für Haut, Augen und Atemwege sein kann.
