1-Bromoctan, mit der CAS-Nummer 111-83-1, ist eine organische Verbindung, die als primäres Alkylhalogenid klassifiziert ist. Es besteht aus einem acht-Kohlenstoff-Alkan mit gerader Kette (Octan), an das ein Bromatom am ersten Kohlenstoff gebunden ist.
