AZ-GHS-22 also blocks the activation of pro-apoptotic protein and reduces bowel inflammation, which may be caused by its anti-inflammatory properties. The combination therapy group showed a better response to treatment than the monotherapy group. However, AZ-GHS-22 may have adverse effects on patients with infectious diseases or bowel disorders due to its ability to inhibit the synthesis of pro-apoptotic proteins.
