Corticosteronacetat ist ein synthetisches Derivat von Corticosteron, einem Steroidhormon, das von der Nebennierenrinde produziert wird. Es wird als Glukokortikoid klassifiziert und hauptsächlich in Forschungs- und Therapieanwendungen aufgrund seiner entzündungshemmenden und immunsuppressiven Eigenschaften verwendet.
