Vincristine is an anticancer agent that belongs to the class of chemotherapeutic agents. It has been used in the treatment of retinoblastoma, Hodgkin's disease, and other cancers. Vincristine-d3 sulfate is a radiochemical precursor of vincristine that can be used for the determination of this drug in biological matrices. The sensitivity of this compound is high and it has no matrix effect. The linear range for vincristine-d3 sulfate is between 1-10 µg/mL, which makes it suitable for use with sample volumes less than 10 mL. This compound can also be analyzed by liquid chromatography coupled with tandem mass spectrometry (LC-MS/MS).
