    <p>Lactacystin is a peptide that belongs to the group of inhibitors. Lactacystin is an inhibitor of ion channels, including voltage-gated potassium channels. It also inhibits ligand binding to receptor sites, which may be due to its ability to bind covalently with cysteine residues in proteins.
