Beschreibung:
β-Cyclodextrin-Methyläther sind Derivate von β-Cyclodextrin, einem zyklischen Oligosaccharid, das aus sieben Glukoseeinheiten besteht, die durch α-1,4-glykosidische Bindungen verbunden sind. Die Methylierung von β-Cyclodextrin verbessert dessen Löslichkeit in organischen Lösungsmitteln und seine Fähigkeit, Einschlusskomplexe mit verschiedenen Gastmolekülen zu bilden, was es in pharmazeutischen und Lebensmittelanwendungen wertvoll macht.
