1-{[(9H-Fluoren-9-yl)methoxy]carbonyl}pyrrolidine-2-carboxylic acid is a linear peptide analog of bivalirudin. It has been shown to be an efficient inhibitor of angiotensin II and exogenous peptides, with a high degree of specificity for the AT1 receptor. 1-{[(9H-Fluoren-9-yl)methoxy]carbonyl}pyrrolidine-2-carboxylic acid has also been found to have a labile amide bond in its structure, which can be deprotected by dilution or phase method.
