Montelukast ist ein Leukotrienrezeptorantagonist, der hauptsächlich zur Behandlung von Asthma und allergischer Rhinitis eingesetzt wird. Es wirkt, indem es die Wirkung von Leukotrienen hemmt, die entzündliche Mediatoren sind und zur Bronchokonstriktion und Schleimproduktion beitragen.
