CAS:Kontrolliertes Produktp-Terphenyl-d14 is a radioactive isotope of p-terphenyl. It can be used as an analytical method to measure the concentration of naphthalene in environmental samples. The superfund is a federal fund for the cleanup of sites contaminated with hazardous substances. Superfund treatments, such as osmosis, are designed to remove these substances from the ground water or soil. These treatments are often successful in reducing the concentration of naphthalene molecules in the ecosystem. However, at this time there has been no conclusive measurement of how much p-terphenyl-d14 will be released into the environment during these processes.
