Corin
CAS:Corin is a peptide hormone that is a member of the natriuretic peptide family. It is produced primarily by atrial cardiomyocytes and in smaller quantities by other cells. Corin has been shown to be a potential biomarker for cardiac function and congestive heart failure. Corin levels are increased in rat plasma following a myocardial infarction because of its anti-inflammatory properties. In humans, corin levels correlate with plasma levels of pro-atrial natriuretic peptide (proANP) and pro-brain natriuretic peptide (proBNP). The release of corin from atrial cardiomyocytes may be regulated by cell factor, which binds to the same receptor as ANP and BNP, but in opposite orientation, resulting in inhibition of corin synthesis.Formel:C26H28N4O2Reinheit:Min. 95%Molekulargewicht:428.5 g/molCorin
