4-Amino-N-methoxy-N-methylbenzamide is a ligand that has been used to catalyze the aminocarbonylation of iodides with phosphine. It has been shown to be stable in air and water, and is active under heterogeneous conditions, such as in the presence of palladium on carbon. 4-Amino-N-methoxy-N-methylbenzamide is also a ligand for the palladium, which can be used to catalyze carbonylative coupling reactions. This ligand has shown high activity for aryl bromides.
