This compound has been shown to inhibit the proliferation of HL-60 cells and to cause vasoconstriction in wild-type mice. KF26777 was found to interact with Ca2+ concentration and cardiac contractility, which may be due to its ability to activate calcium channels and inhibit phosphodiesterase type 3 (PDE3).
