CAS:2-tert-Butyl-6-methylphenol is a chemical compound that is used as an intermediate in the synthesis of a number of other chemicals. It has been shown to be toxic to human liver cells and may contribute to environmental pollution. 2-tert-Butyl-6-methylphenol is a white, crystalline solid that melts at about 145 degrees Celsius.
