Acetylspiramycin

Beschreibung:

Acetylspiramycin ist ein Makrolid-Antibiotikum, das aus der Fermentation des Bakteriums *Streptomyces ambofaciens* gewonnen wird. Es wird hauptsächlich in der Tiermedizin zur Behandlung verschiedener bakterieller Infektionen bei Tieren, insbesondere bei Nutz- und Geflügel, eingesetzt. Die Verbindung zeigt antibakterielle Aktivität gegen eine Reihe von grampositiven Bakterien und einige gramnegative Bakterien, was sie wirksam bei der Behandlung von Atemwegs- und Magen-Darm-Infektionen macht. Acetylspiramycin wirkt, indem es die bakterielle Proteinsynthese hemmt und somit das Wachstum und die Fortpflanzung von Bakterien verhindert.
