6-Deoxy-L-tallose
CAS:
6-Deoxy-L-tallose is a heterocyclic compound that is an enol ether with a vicinal, β-unsaturated aldehyde and the correct stereochemistry. It can be synthesized from D-glucose by enolization of the hydroxyl group at C2, followed by oxidation to form an aldehyde. This reaction can also be accomplished using hydrogen peroxide in acetic acid. 6-Deoxy-L-tallose can also be synthesized from D-mannitol or D-sorbitol by reduction of the carbonyl group at C1, followed by oxidation to form an aldehyde. The synthesis of 6-deoxy L -tallose has been shown to be useful as a chiral synthon for the synthesis of other molecules.END>
Formel:C6H12O5Reinheit:Min. 95%Molekulargewicht:164.16 g/mol
