Beschreibung: Perfluorhexansäure (PFHxA) ist eine perfluorierte Carbonsäure, die durch eine vollständig fluorierte Kohlenstoffkette mit sechs Kohlenstoffatomen gekennzeichnet ist, mit einer Carbonsäurefunktion am einen Ende. Ihre chemische Formel ist C6HF13O2, und sie ist bekannt für ihre hohe thermische und chemische Stabilität aufgrund der starken Kohlenstoff-Fluor-Bindungen. PFHxA ist bei Raumtemperatur eine farblose Flüssigkeit oder ein fester Stoff und ist in organischen Lösungsmitteln löslich, hat jedoch eine geringe Löslichkeit in Wasser.
