It is a potent inhibitor of the enzyme target, which is involved in the production of estradiol. 2-Fluoro-3-methoxyphenylboronic acid has been found to inhibit cellular growth and induce cancer cell death by targeting estrogen receptor β. This molecule also inhibits the growth factor, leading to inhibition of prostate cancer cells in vitro.
