Bacampicillin-Hydrochlorid ist ein halbsynthetisches Antibiotikum, das zur Klasse der Penicilline gehört und hauptsächlich wegen seiner antibakteriellen Eigenschaften verwendet wird. Es ist ein Prodrug von Ampicillin, was bedeutet, dass es im Körper in die aktive Form, Ampicillin, umgewandelt wird.
