CAS:4,4'-Oxybis(phenyl isocyanate) (PAPI) is an organic compound that can be used to synthesize polyurethanes. This compound is a diisocyanate, which reacts with a diol to form a polyurethane polymer. It does not react with water and is soluble in organic solvents. PAPI is often used as a cross-linking agent for the production of elastomers and rubbers. The permeation properties of PAPI are determined by how long it takes for the material to pass through the skin or other tissues.
