Bacampicillin ist ein halbsynthetisches Antibiotikum, das zur Klasse der Penicilline gehört und speziell entwickelt wurde, um die Stabilität der Penicillinstruktur gegenüber Magensäure zu verbessern, wodurch die orale Bioverfügbarkeit erhöht wird. Es zeichnet sich durch seine breite Wirksamkeit gegen verschiedene grampositive und einige gramnegative Bakterien aus, was es wirksam bei der Behandlung einer Vielzahl von Infektionen macht.
