L-Nikotin, mit der CAS-Nummer 54-11-5, ist ein Alkaloid, das hauptsächlich in der Tabakpflanze, Nicotiana tabacum, vorkommt. Es ist eine farblose bis blassgelbe Flüssigkeit, die hygroskopisch ist und einen charakteristischen Geruch hat.
