Aminopterin ist ein Folsäureantagonist und ein Mitglied der Aminopterin-Klasse von Verbindungen, die hauptsächlich für ihre Rolle als Antimetabolit in der Krebstherapie und als immunsuppressives Mittel bekannt ist.
