Bis(3-aminopropyl)amin, auch bekannt als N,N-Bis(3-aminopropyl)amin, ist eine organische Verbindung, die durch ihre Struktur gekennzeichnet ist, die zwei 3-Aminopropylgruppen an ein zentrales Stickstoffatom bindet. Diese Verbindung ist bei Raumtemperatur eine farblose bis blassgelbe Flüssigkeit und in Wasser sowie verschiedenen organischen Lösungsmitteln löslich, was ihre polare Natur aufgrund der Anwesenheit von Aminogruppen widerspiegelt. Sie hat einen relativ hohen Siedepunkt, was auf starke intermolekulare Wechselwirkungen wie Wasserstoffbrückenbindungen hinweist. Bis(3-aminopropyl)amin wird hauptsächlich in der Synthese von Polyamiden, als Härter in Epoxidharzen und in der Herstellung von Tensiden verwendet. Sie zeigt basische Eigenschaften aufgrund der Aminogruppen, die es ihr ermöglichen, als Nucleophil in verschiedenen chemischen Reaktionen zu agieren. Darüber hinaus kann sie an der Komplexierung mit Metallionen teilnehmen, was sie in der Koordinationschemie nützlich macht.
