Beschreibung:
Glycin, mit der CAS-Nummer 56-40-6, ist die einfachste Aminosäure und dient als grundlegender Baustein von Proteinen. Es ist ein farbloser, geruchloser und süß schmeckender kristalliner Feststoff, der hoch wasserlöslich ist. Glycin hat die chemische Formel C2H5NO2 und weist sowohl eine Aminogruppe (-NH2) als auch eine Carboxylgruppe (-COOH) auf, was es zu einer Alpha-Aminosäure macht.
