1-Methylcyclopropanesulphonamide is a drug that inhibits the activity of serine protease. It has been shown to inhibit the replication of hepatitis C virus and HIV, while also inhibiting the enzymatic activity of human leukocyte elastase. This drug has a molecular weight of 226.3 g/mol and is soluble in water. 1-Methylcyclopropanesulphonamide is used for treatment of viral hepatitis, such as chronic active hepatitis, acute hepatitis, and fulminant hepatic failure.
