Beschreibung:
Eisen, mit der CAS-Nummer 7439-89-6, ist ein Übergangsmetall und eines der häufigsten Elemente auf der Erde, das hauptsächlich in der Erdkruste und im Erdkern vorkommt. Es hat eine Ordnungszahl von 26 und wird durch das Symbol Fe dargestellt, das sich von dem lateinischen Wort "ferrum" ableitet.
