Beschreibung:
Magnesium ist ein chemisches Element mit dem Symbol Mg und der Ordnungszahl 12. Es ist ein glänzendes, silberweißes Metall, das relativ leicht ist und eine niedrige Dichte hat. Magnesium wird als Erdalkalimetall klassifiziert und ist bekannt für seine hohe Reaktivität, insbesondere mit Sauerstoff und Wasser, obwohl es bei Raumtemperatur langsamer mit Wasser reagiert. Es hat einen Schmelzpunkt von etwa 650 Grad Celsius und einen Siedepunkt von etwa 1090 Grad Celsius.
