Beschreibung:
Niob, mit dem chemischen Symbol Nb und der CAS-Nummer 7440-03-1, ist ein Übergangsmetall, das für seinen hohen Schmelzpunkt und seine hervorragende Korrosionsbeständigkeit bekannt ist. Es ist ein silbergraues Metall, das duktil ist und leicht geformt werden kann. Niob wird hauptsächlich in der Herstellung von hochfesten Stahllegierungen verwendet, die die Festigkeit und Zähigkeit der in Bau und Fertigung verwendeten Materialien verbessern.
