Beschreibung: Tetramethrin ist ein synthetisches Pyrethroid-Insektizid, das für seine Wirksamkeit bei der Bekämpfung einer Vielzahl von Schädlingen bekannt ist. Es zeichnet sich durch seine hohe Potenz und die schnelle Abtötungswirkung auf Insekten aus, was es zu einer beliebten Wahl in der landwirtschaftlichen und häuslichen Schädlingsbekämpfung macht. Tetramethrin ist typischerweise eine farblose bis blassgelbe Flüssigkeit mit einem schwachen Geruch. Es ist unter normalen Bedingungen relativ stabil, kann jedoch bei Licht- und Feuchtigkeitseinwirkung abgebaut werden. Die Substanz ist lipophil, was es ihr ermöglicht, effektiv in die Cuticula von Insekten einzudringen.
