Beschreibung:

Permangansäure (HMnO4), Kaliumsalz, allgemein bekannt als Kaliumpermanganat, ist eine anorganische Verbindung mit der Formel KMnO4. Es erscheint als dunkelviolette oder fast schwarze Kristalle, die in Wasser löslich sind und eine tiefviolette Lösung ergeben. Diese Verbindung zeichnet sich durch ihre starken oxidierenden Eigenschaften aus, was sie in verschiedenen Anwendungen nützlich macht, einschließlich Wasseraufbereitung, Desinfektion und als Reagenz in der organischen Synthese.
