Triethylphosphat (TEP) ist eine organophosphorhaltige Verbindung mit der chemischen Formel C6H15O4P und einer CAS-Nummer von 78-40-0. Es handelt sich um eine farb- und geruchlose Flüssigkeit, die in organischen Lösungsmitteln löslich ist, jedoch eine begrenzte Löslichkeit in Wasser aufweist. TEP wird hauptsächlich als Lösungsmittel, Weichmacher und Flammschutzmittel in verschiedenen industriellen Anwendungen verwendet. Es zeigt eine geringe Flüchtigkeit und ist unter normalen Bedingungen stabil, was es für den Einsatz in Hochtemperaturprozessen geeignet macht.
