Rizinusöl, mit der CAS-Nummer 8001-79-4, ist eine viskose Flüssigkeit von blassgelber bis farbloser Farbe, die aus den Samen der Ricinus communis-Pflanze gewonnen wird. Sie besteht hauptsächlich aus Triglyceriden, wobei die Ricinolsäure die vorherrschende Fettsäure ist, die etwa 90 % ihres Fettsäuregehalts ausmacht.
