Applications (1R,3R)-2,2-Dimethyl-1,2,3,4,7,8-hexahydro-1,3-methanonaphthalen-5(6H)-one is an intermediate in the synthesis of β-Selinene, (~90%) (S253185) which is a natural product found in essential oils from variety of plants. It is a functional antioxidant with antiradical and antimicrobial properties.
