Applications N-Isobutylsorbamide shows antitubercular activity towards mycobacterium strains. It is a derivative of Sorbic Acid (S676890), a naturally occurring organic compound first isolated from unripe berries and used as a food preservative and as an inhibitor of Clostridium Botulinum bacteria in meat products.
