Mebeverine is a drug that acts as an inhibitor of cyclic nucleotide phosphodiesterase enzymes. It is used for the treatment of mild to moderate pain and belongs to the class of nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs). Mebeverine may be used for the relief of symptoms including pain, inflammation, and stiffness in patients with osteoarthritis or rheumatoid arthritis.
