1H-Indol-3-ethanamin, α-methyl-, hydrochlorid (1:1), allgemein bekannt als α-Methyltryptamin (AMT), ist eine chemische Verbindung mit der CAS-Nummer 879-36-7. Es ist ein Derivat der Tryptamin, das durch das Vorhandensein einer Indolringstruktur gekennzeichnet ist, die eine bicyclische Verbindung ist, die aus einem sechsgliedrigen Benzolring besteht, der mit einem fünfgliedrigen Pyrrolring mit Stickstoff verbunden ist.
