Polystyrol

Beschreibung:
Polystyrol ist ein synthetisches aromatisches Kohlenwasserstoffpolymer, das aus dem Monomer Styrol hergestellt wird und sich durch seine Steifigkeit und Vielseitigkeit auszeichnet. Es ist ein farbloser, transparenter Thermoplast, der je nach Formulierung fest oder schaumig sein kann. Polystyrol weist hervorragende Isolationseigenschaften auf, was es weit verbreitet in Verpackungsmaterialien, Einwegbesteck und Isolierplatten macht. Seine geringe Dichte und die einfache Verarbeitung tragen zu seiner Beliebtheit in verschiedenen Anwendungen bei, einschließlich Konsumgütern und Bauwesen.
