Polymeres MDI, oder polymeres Methylen-Diphenyl-Diisocyanat, ist eine vielseitige chemische Verbindung, die hauptsächlich in der Herstellung von Polyurethan-Schaumstoffen, Elastomeren und Beschichtungen verwendet wird. Es zeichnet sich durch seine hohe Reaktivität aufgrund der Anwesenheit von Isocyanat-Funktionsgruppen aus, die leicht mit Polyolen reagieren, um Polyurethan-Polymere zu bilden. Polymeres MDI weist typischerweise eine niedrige Viskosität auf, die eine einfache Verarbeitung ermöglicht, und hat ein relativ hohes Molekulargewicht, was zu seiner Stabilität und Leistung in verschiedenen Anwendungen beiträgt.
