Sacubitril-Valsartan ist ein Kombinationsmedikament, das hauptsächlich zur Behandlung von Herzinsuffizienz mit reduzierter Ejektionsfraktion eingesetzt wird. Es besteht aus zwei aktiven Komponenten: Sacubitril, einem Neprilysin-Hemmer, der die Spiegel von natriuretischen Peptiden erhöht, und Valsartan, einem Angiotensin-II-Rezeptorblocker (ARB), der hilft, den Blutdruck zu senken und die Belastung des Herzens zu reduzieren. Der Wirkmechanismus umfasst die doppelte Hemmung des Renin-Angiotensin-Aldosteron-Systems (RAAS) und des Neprilysin-Weges, was zu Vasodilatation, reduziertem Blutvolumen und verbessertem Herzzeitvolumen führt.
