Cl4PBI
CAS:
Cl4PBI is a hydrogenated tetrachlorinated polyethylene glycol that is produced from the reaction of ethylene oxide with tetrachlorinated biphenyl. The synthesis of Cl4PBI starts with the reaction of the ethylene oxide and the tetrachlorinated biphenyl in an autoclave at temperatures between 100 °C and 130 °C. The reaction is allowed to proceed until all of the reactants have reacted or until a predetermined time has elapsed. The final product, Cl4PBI, can be characterized using kinetic and thermodynamic studies as well as by structural analysis such as X-ray diffraction, NMR spectroscopy, FTIR spectroscopy and mass spectrometry. Cl4PBI is also chiral because it has two enantiomers that are non-superimposable mirror images.
Formel:C32H8Cl4F14N2O4Reinheit:Min. 95%Molekulargewicht:892.21 g/mol
