Beschreibung

Rubidium nitrate is used in infrared radiation producing pyrotechnic compositions. It acts as a colorant and an oxidizer especially in decoys and illumination flares. Further, it is employed as a starting material in the preparation of other rubidium compounds and rubidium metal, which is utilized for the preparation of catalysts and in scintillation counters.
