Beschreibung

Chlorphenoxamine is an analog of flupirtine that is used as a pharmaceutical drug. Chlorphenoxamine has been shown to have a number of beneficial effects, including decreasing locomotor activity in animals with bowel disease and treating autoimmune diseases. It also has a number of physiological effects, such as increasing the body temperature and suppressing the appetite. This drug may be used as an anti-inflammatory agent for inflammatory bowel disease due to its ability to inhibit prostaglandin synthesis. The optimum concentration for chlorphenoxamine is between 1-100 μM, which can be achieved through oral administration. However, this drug has low bioavailability and high clearance rates, making it difficult to administer at higher doses.
