Beschreibung

2-(N-Ethylanilino)ethanol (2EAE) is a reactive functional group that is used in the synthesis of polymeric materials. It can be used to encapsulate other molecules, such as hydrogen and chlorine gas, in order to protect them from environmental conditions. 2EAE has methoxy groups that are capable of forming hydrogen bonds with other molecules, which makes it an efficient method for synthesizing polymers. 2EAE reacts with nitrous acid to form azobenzene, an acceptor molecule that is used in organic reactions.
