Beschreibung:
2-Phenylethyl Formate is a chemical compound that belongs to the group of esters. It is an intermediate in the synthesis of 2-phenylethanol, which is used in the manufacture of phenylethyl benzoate. 2-Phenylethyl Formate has been shown to rapidly kill mosquitoes and inhibit their development. This compound also inhibits the production of tyrosinase, an enzyme that controls melanin production. It also inhibits skin pigmentation by blocking the formation of melanosomes and tyrosinase activity.
